As a German energy professional, for 15yrs I've explained people from the rest of the world our stance on nuclear, often defending it. Today is the day when I will stop. I don't know how to explain the decision to effectively close even the remaining reactors in these times.

There is really only one way out of the European energy crisis: investing hundreds of billions of € into wind and solar. Any policy that makes such investments less attractive will prolong the crisis.

Weil einige es schon wieder vergessen haben: Es war Russland, das uns den Gashahn zugedreht hat. Nicht Habeck oder die Bundesregierung oder die EU. Sondern Putin. Und zwar langsam und systematisch und planvoll ab Frühling 2021.
