- Congrats to our C James Nunnallee on officially becoming a @UVABaseball Cavalier today. Big things yet to come.
- Proud of the guys within our program for a great year of growth. Cannot wait for next year to begin as we reload with all players coming back. Thank you to the community for their continued support and to my coaching staff that sacrifice so much time and effort for the program.
- Lightridge baseballs first win in school history with a 10-0 victory over Dominion. Proud of these young men. Gotta reset and refocus for tomorrow’s game against Indy. #stayhungry
- Great team win tonight against @DomHighBaseball. Programs 1st playoff win and now we advance to the semis. Solid 1-2 combo on the bump tonight from Moriarty and Park. Offense was led by Newell and Moriarty who both had 2 hits. Stay hungry boys!!!!
- Big thanks to Georgetown’s 2B Yareb Martinez for speaking to our boys about building a positive culture for a year 1 program. He hit on a wide range of topics but mainly centered on the development of leadership qualities that will help our boys succeed both on and off the field.
- Huge congrats to our ace Liam Moriarty on his commitment to play at Bridgewater. Big things to come from this young man.
- Shout out to some of the boys for volunteering their time to help run the Loudoun South Little League evals today.
- The season came to an end in the regional semifinals. Thank you seniors for laying down the foundation of this 4th year baseball program. Year 1, we went 3-10 to year 4 going 18-6 and making Lightridge history by reaching the district finals and winning a regional playoff game.
- Congrats to Jacob Park on signing his National letter of intent yesterday to play D1 baseball at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Proud of you buddy.
- Lots of Lightridge 1st last night. 1st home run is school history was made by @AidanKnapp4. 1st senior class was honored last night. 1st time in program history reaching double digit wins. Finished 10-10 on the year with a bright future ahead. Date with @BRHS_Baseball on tap.
- Bullpen construction is under way. Hired some cheap labor. 2 hours of work=Hot Chocolate.
