- Imagine if Obama had announced he intended to fill all positions without Senate confirmation. Fox News would be in wall-to-wall coverage of it and the rest of the political media would follow suit. Trump does it and they just shrug their shoulders. That’s how democracies die.
- The press going absolutely wild for this Biden “garbage” quote is a great example of how broken the American media is. Trump has spent years saying far worse about his opponents and Democratic voters, and yet the press is instantly jumping on this as a scandal.
- Feels important to note that the president of the union leading the port strike has a long-standing relationship with Trump and is causing major damage to a roaring economy five weeks before the election.
- This is truly wild. The Washington Post and New York Times both have the Biden gaffe as their top stories (the NYT has *two* stories about it on their home page) and not a single mention of Johnson saying they’ll repeal the ACA or a Trump official saying they’ll pull vaccines.
