My apartment in Beirut was just blown apart. We think it was a missile from a jet. We're ok.

An entire family of 23 people was wiped out in an #Israel’i airstrike on the north #Lebanon christian village of Aito yesterday. They had fled the bombing in the south, taking refuge here. Two of them were babies. Only pieces of these human beings are left.

I spent this morning inside Assad’s infamous #Damascus slaughterhouse prison, Sednaya. I’ve spent much of my career investigating what was being done to defenceless human beings in this place. Now we know everything. It’s worse than you could possibly imagine.

Not sure why @IDF chose to release this. For those who want to glorify #Sinwar as a resistance hero, it shows him fighting to the last having lost an arm, on the front lines w/ his fighters rather than hiding in a tunnel behind human shields which has been the IDF's narrative.
Raw footage of Yahya Sinwar’s last moments:

There is a name for this. It is called collective punishment and it is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is examining a plan to seal off humanitarian aid to northern Gaza in an attempt to starve out Hamas militants, a plan that could trap hundreds of thousands of Palestinians without food or water. apnews.com/article/hamas-…

These wonderful ladies just turned up at our door asking to help us clean up the wreckage of our apartment. They've come from Saida in south #Lebanon to help, going house to house like so many others volunteers working together across #Beirut in the absence of any govt support.

This is what we call leading by example, people.
Orlando Sentinel: “A Florida man is accused of groping a female passenger while on a flight Sunday from Houston to Albuquerque and later telling authorities that the president of the United States ‘says it's OK to grab women by their private parts.’” orlandosentinel.com/news/florida/o…

The road to #Beirut airport has been bombed tonight. #Lebanon has only one civilian airport, and this is where fleeing people are evacuating from.

I’m receiving videos far too graphic to publish of the horrors in Rafah tonight. A body burned black, dragged from destroyed make-shift tents, a young child in pieces. One toddler has been completely beheaded in the attack. Parents are clutching their dead children, screaming.

Utter horror in Rafah tonight. The IDF has struck tents housing displaced people in an area that #Israel had designated a humanitarian zone & encouraged #Gaza’ns to evacuate to. At least 30 people are dead. Videos are circulating of mutilated children amidst the destroyed tents,

His identity wasn’t yet confirmed at the time we made this piece, but I want him to look at his face as you watch it. Shab’an was 19. He was a keen student who studied from his tent and had given blood at the hospital to help other airstrike victims. He was burned alive alongside
