- Champion '22 track star Riley Burkey (now with the Buffalo track program) had a visit with new University of Colorado Head 🏈 Coach Deion Sanders!
- Boerne ISD is proud to announce our new @SamChampionHS Head Baseball Coach Ben Woodchick! Coach Woodchick comes to Champion from Brennan High School in San Antonio. We are excited for Coach Woodchick to carry on the rich tradition that Coach Chuck Foster built. Go Chargers! ⚾
- Excited to announce that Kevin Brown will be the new Offensive Coordinator for Boerne High School! Coach Brown was the Offensive Coordinator for UTSA from 2012-2015. Coach Brown also has served as an assistant coach at TCU, Texas State and Lamar University. Go Greyhounds!
- Congratulations to Douglas Hodo on finishing his Boerne High School baseball career (2016-2019) 2nd in Texas H.S history for career stolen bases with 106! In 2018, he became 2nd (tied), Texas All-Time for consecutive games hitting with (25) @usatodayhss @MaxPreps @4ATxHsBaseball
- Kyle Bullard, Champion'2011 passed away earlier this week. Kyle was 2nd Team All State 🏈 and All State All Tournament ⚽ his Senior year. Kyle was a great blessing to Champion Athletics and the entire Boerne community. We send our love to his mother Lynn and his sister Megan.❤
