    I emailed this letter to the IHSA Board and Administration 9 days with 450 HS baseball & softball coaches signatures. They made a mistake cutting the spring sport seasons in 2021. We lost an entire season and now will have the next season cut in half.

    It is extremely hard to believe that @IHSA_IL would limit the spring season in 2021 and take away the Class of 2021’s opportunity for a complete spring season after they didn’t have a season this year. How do other sports get 77% of their season and spring gets 51%??

    Extremely proud that I was able to see my son Dominic’s 1st Division One base hit. His road to play D One was unconventional but happened because of his relentless belief in himself and God, the opportunity that @MCPbaseball gave him, @Sparks_North ,Bob Lisanti & @drjasonness.

    What an incredible proud night for me to be part of the draft with Jaden and his family. @JadenFauske being selected by the @whitesox is a great story and dream come true. It was an honor to coach Jaden for the last four years @Baseball_Naz. Great things ahead for Jaden.

    On Feb. 24, 2024 my son Anthony was hit in the eye by a 90 MPH fastball. He fractured his orbital and had a concussion. Over 200 doctor and PT appointments later he hit a double @_HarperBaseball to help them to improve to 5-0.

    What a great night! The journey for the last 27 years was greater than the reward. This was for all that wore the uniform before. Thanks to my family, @NazarethLGP administration, everyone involved with @Baseball_Naz especially all the coaches, parents and players over the years.

    Extremely proud of @dmilano224 and his staff for their leadership @_HarperBaseball for a season that turned the program around. The players made memories for a lifetime. You battled through great adversity to finish 36-15. There are big things ahead for the program. Proud!

    Most of the Class of 2021 spring sport athletes have never played a varsity contest. One would think the spring sports would be the top priority for @IHSA_IL when they are creating a calendar so these athletes have the memories other athletes in their class have experienced.

    No thanks! Baseball hasn’t played a game since the spring of 2019...and the answer is to place our shortened season in the middle the worst weather of the spring? Our players deserve better. First day of competition on March 8? This idea eliminates another week of games for us.
