The greatest compliment an athlete can receive is that they’re a great teammate.

NCAA softball regionals are about 1,000x more entertaining than the NBA Conference Finals that are on at the same time. College softball is phenomenal.

I keep seeing people advising recruits to play fewer games this summer since D1 coaches won’t be there. I don’t understand this. Games are fun! Playing with teammates is awesome. If we discourage HS kids from playing games, we send the message that it’s all about being recruited.

I’m so excited and honored to begin this journey with @BelmontSoftball! I can’t wait to get to work. Go Bruins!

Any fast kid recruits want to wreak havoc on the bases? I know a softball program that likes that…👀

Coaching is really fun when you have players who love each other and fight for each other.

Morning of a softball coach: Wake Up. Check all 3 weather apps. Coffee.

NCAA softball coverage is really excellent right now. There are some people working their butts off to showcase these incredible women! Would have never thought this was possible when I was a collegiate athlete.

I almost got tricked into thinking a recruit was really fast on video until I saw that the video was sped up. I’ve seen it with pitching too. That’s not a very honest way to start a recruiting or player/coach relationship.

Words cannot express how devastated I am, and I haven’t fully processed this yet. I am honored to have coached a group of tremendous women who exemplify everything student-athlete should be. They deserve better than this. Please reach out to me for questions about any of them.

Someone could make a killing if they had coffee carts at softball tournaments. I’d pay about $25 for a good coffee during morning and evening games.

Went to my 5-year-old niece’s first softball game today. She was on 1B and forgot to run to 2B because she was so excited her teammate had hit the ball, and she was waiting for her to run to 1B so she could hug her. High-level teammate.

I just yelled at an umpire through my office computer screen for an abysmal strike call on a recruiting video. If that doesn’t sum up the 2020 year of a softball coach, I don’t know what does.

My assistants in Colorado. Abby has a knack for assessing pitchers and Luca just loves home run hitters.
