    Update: At approximately 6:00pm, Officers were standing in front of #RossDressForLess. A male suspect exited the store with stolen merchandise and was quickly greeted by Police. He was ultimately arrested for Shoplifting $85 worth of merchandise and booked into Jail.

    Officers are conducting Holiday Emphasis Patrols throughout the month of December in the Lakewood Towne Center and surrounding business’. There will be #zerotolerance on all shoplifting incidents and offenders will be booked into Jail.

    Amtrack derailed in Steilacoom, Lakewood Patrol and Marine Service Unit on scene assisting. Thankfully it appears there are no casualties.

    It is safe to return home , if you left your home for the fire in Fort Steilacoom Park. @WestPierce crews are on scene still cleaning up hot spots and working with @waDNR_fire

    A helicopter crew from @waDNR is using water from Waughop Lake to help @WestPierce with its efforts to put out the fire in Fort Steilacoom Park. There are no changes to the voluntary evacuation request. Residents to the west of the park are asked to be ready to go.

    Yesterday afternoon Lakewood Police learned of a possible location where prolific retail thief Jasmine "Chicken Scam Lady" Willie would be. Officers conducted surveillance, arrested her without incident and booked her into the county jail on numerous outstanding warrants.

    This mini semi was stolen from NAPA Auto Parts in the 3800 blk of 100th St around 11:00am. Last seen in the area of 116th St and Spanaway Loop. See it in your neighborhood? Bonus points for the identity of the non-CDL endorsed driver.
