- random research: in past 16 NCAA Tournaments, Duke basketball has been 1 or 2 seed 12 times. despite that they've made it past the Sweet 16 only 4 times total. FOUR in last 16 yrs! yes there are two titles in that span, but the underachievement in other years is epic.

- Some personal news: After 16 years doing sports talk in Louisville, I’m saying goodbye to radio, returning to TV to be a full-time News Anchor for @SpectrumNews1KY. I’ll miss everyone at @ESPN680 but the future is so bright at Spectrum. My last day on #TheMiddayRush is Friday.
- if I'm UofL, I throw all my resources at trying to get: 1. Scott Drew 2. Kelvin Sampson 3. Eric Musselman they are all much better candidates than Kenny Payne. you make them say no before you turn to him. P.S.- "former players want him" is dumbest reason EVER to hire a coach.
