- Replying to @PaulHammelNE and @CityOfLincolnHello Paul, More than 100 plow crews have been working non-stop to clear 2,600 miles of #LNK streets (equivalent of driving to NYC and back). This is the 2nd biggest storm Lincoln as seen since 1965. Due to the extreme volume of snow, this is taking longer than usual. Thanks, LTU
- SHIFT CHANGE: Snowfighters will continue to plow main and residential streets today. 8.7 inches of snow and blowing snow have made plowing overnight challenging and slowed down progress a bit. We’ll continue to fight on until the job is done! 💪
- Thank you to our Snowfighters for their hard work clearing the streets so far! Their work to plow the slush and snow off streets helped to prevent icing from forming overnight. This effort assisted with this morning's commute. 👏 🧵 1/2
