- Took this picture 5 years ago today at the St. Louis Arch. It features a news anchor, a current college QB, a Juco All American, a KC Player of the year, 4 more college grads, a couple more still playing ball, and an guy making his first start against @Chiefs
- I cannot know what is like to grow up black in America. I have never been pulled over for driving while black or had to worry that my son could end up in the street like George Floyd or Trayvon Martin. I worry about my players who I love like sons and for their families.
- Have fun tonight at Prom @LeesSummitHS Tigers! Be safe, make good decisions, and remember that your date could be your + 1 for life like my date has been for the last 20 years.
- Great win tonight on Senior night. When I got hired they were going into 4th grade. I knew they had great potential but had no idea what they would mean to me. As a coach you think you are giving to the kids but it’s what they give you that brings you back. #THETEAM
- It’s the end of year 21 for me in education. It’s been a challenging year, full of moves, changes, and loss. Still, when I walk out of my room today I am reminded that I love what I do, the people I work with, and the students who fill the halls and classrooms at LSHS.
- Kansas City lost a giant today. There has been no greater ambassador for the game of basketball then Coach Holley. His impact cannot be understated or his reach over sold.
- Congrats @DrewLock23 on setting the MU and SEC records for TD passes in a season. Throwing touchdowns might be the only thing you have done more beautifully than shoot the three. Either way you’ve always gone deep.
- Not the outcome that we wanted but it doesn’t take away from what we accomplished. The journey is the reward after all. Thanks to all the fans and families who have supported us this year.
- Gritty win tonight to win the Championship against a really good Olathe South team. Thanks @lsloudcrowd for the support. The gym looks good on you.
