- Special shout out to Katie Chester for breaking LN’s single season homerun record tonight. Katie is putting up video game like numbers this year, hitting .613 with 11 2b’s, 38 RBI’s and 14 💣’s. Even more impressive than her stats is her work ethic. Mizzou is getting a good one.
- Congrats to Katie Chester on making Class 5 District 8’s All District 1st Team.
- Eagles fall in their Sectional game 4-3. Congrats Eagles on a great season. Proud of the seniors, unbelievable group of girls with a bright future.
- LN 🦅 🥎 would like to welcome Spencer Wilkins to the family. Coach Wilkins has been teaching (Lewis & Clark) & coaching (Baseball) in Liberty for 4 years & he will be taking over our JV program.
- Wasn’t the trophy we were looking for but we are coming home finishing 3rd in the state and hanging a banner. These girls have been amazing all year and will forever hold special place in my heart. Can’t thank my coaches, players, parents, and community enough for this 1st year.
- Varsity 🦅’s win an unbelievable battle with Park Hill tonight and claim the District 8 Championship. Bats exploded in the 6th inning and the crowd was amazing. So proud of these girls and can’t wait to get back at it on Saturday vs Ray-Pec. 24-9 on the season. District Champs!!

00:00 - 🦅’s take 2 today, 7-4 over Webb City & 9-8 over BS. Rogers was solid on the mound for the win vs Webb City. Katie Chester had 3 hits and McDowell drove in 3 runs for the offense. Carnes gets the win vs BS. Katie Chester had 2 hits including a walk off 2 out, 3 run 💣 to win it.

- LN Varsity uses 3 big innings to beat Staley tonight 11 to 5. Lenger, Chester, and Haselhorst combined for 3 huge 💣’s. McDowell and Carnes combined for a solid outing on the mound. 2-0 on the year, keep it rolling ladies.

- LN Varsity beats Kearney in a high scoring shoot out 10 to 8. Wagoner, Lenger, & McDowell led the Eagles offensively including a 💣 each by Lenger and McDowell. Coach Amanda Self picks up her 1st win as a HC. Nice work ladies!!! Back in action tomorrow vs. Staley @ Staley 4:30pm
