- Covid-19 testing is well under way for our Year 7-13 pupils ahead of returning to school on Monday. Thanks to the nurses and all the parents and staff helping with this mammoth task!
- We are delighted that our visors are reaching those who really need them. We have now made 450 & are upping production with the help of some amazing donations from COBA & Carlon Plastics who have been at helping speed up our production by laser cutting for us. #PPEforTheNHS
- Miss Campbell has created this fantastic display of Year 9 Bee & Bug Hotels... the rest (unclaimed by the pupils) are going to be put in the school grounds near the #NoMowMay zones where they can be used by the bees and insects!
- Our Eco Club featured on the BBC news at the end of last week! Mrs McNally, Will & other members of the club talked about Climate Change and what we are doing to try to tackle the issue. Will then went on to attend the @COP26 conference on Thursday & Friday.
- Congratulations to our 1st XV Captain Sam Eveleigh who is currently playing for Sydney University @SUFC1863 in Australia on an exchange from @LeicesterTigers until August. What a great opportunity!
- Our Prep (Y6) pupils are paddling on the Grand Union Canal, Kilby thanks to @CanalRiverTrust! They'll investigate water safety, river usage & waterway management, stop for lunch & enjoy activities designed to develop communication, teamwork, confidence & help them manage stress.
- Congratulations to Lucas & Annie (Year 12)! They have been awarded @ArkwrightTalent Engineering Scholarships. This is the most esteemed scholarship of its type in the UK, designed to inspire students to pursue their dreams and change the world as a future leader in engineering 👏
- Moomin and Josh had a great day supporting the DT department by making 103 face visors for the #NHS. These were destined for LGH ICU and Rothwell Medical centre, but there are many more on the waiting list! Credit to Steve Newton at Stamford School for setting us up. SES_DT

- We're delighted with this year's outstanding A level results. 78% of grades were A*/B & over 40% A* or A. 6 candidates got 4 A*s & almost 1/4 gained all A* or A grades. The excellent results should allow the overwhelming majority to take up their place at the uni of their choice
