    This nastiness has to end - it’s discrimination against an incredibly vulnerable group in society. No two ways about it. It also shows just how poorly understood the reality & science of gender still is

    We are disgusted and sickened to see a symbol of hate being used to attack the trans community. Whilst we cannot control central party membership, we can make it clear this will not be tolerated and in no way represents the views of this group. We have raised this with CCHQ.

    Tweet deleted, because we are polite. However being an LGBT+ Conservative is not an oxymoron. Being LGBT+ doesn’t mean you have to support Labour or left-wing politics. There’s no rule book on how to be LGBT+. Straight people aren’t told what to think, we shouldn’t be either.

    Tragic that a now Labour MP would think this is okay. It's why at most Prides Labour have to be separated from other political parties due to their aggressive behaviour @charlotte2153 MP should apologise & help us stamp out the hate - JC
