Great result today marred by homophobic chanting by some of our fans targeting Chelsea loanee Billy Gilmour. If you can't support without resorting to bigoted nonsense, you don't understand YNWA.
"We are absolutely clear: the 'rent boy' chant is homophobic and must be treated as such."
Our statement calling for more action from The @FA and Police following a number of reports about homophobic chanting by Liverpool supporters towards Chelsea fans on Sunday ๐

No acceptance by Henderson of his role in sportswashing, trying to disguise the disgusting Saudi human rights record. This sounds more like an attempt to rebuild his "brand", sorry isn't good enough @JHenderson, actions speak louder than words.

Jordan Hendersonโs first interview since leaving Liverpool for Saudi Arabia (with me & @David_Ornstein). Everything on the table: why he left, new life in Saudi & extended conversation on his perceived betrayal of LGBT community theathletic.com/4831793/2023/0โฆ
Kop Outs have valued the allyship shown by @JHenderson
We are appalled and concerned that anyone might consider working for a #sportswashing operation for a regime where women & LGBT+ people are oppressed & that regularly tops the world death sentence table?
Given he wrote this - and he very much didn't have to - I think it is moody as fuck if Jordan Henderson goes to Saudi Arabia.
He chose to be a strong ally to a group of vulnerable supporters and that *does* come at a cost.
Henderson's own choices make it different.
When @JHenderson met Paul Amann of Kop Outs in August 2021, Jordan said if there's ever anything I can do to help, just ask.
So the ask is to stand by your words as a professed ally & champion of #LGBT+ rights, of women's rights and of basic human dignity. Don't go to Saudi.
Our thanks and appreciation to our allies for the solidarity in calling out the homophobic chants today.
The majority of the game was marked by great atmosphere fitting for the rivalry involved.

Delighted to see @LFC light up the Kop at Anfield, to play its part in #COTS18 an initiative to raise awareness of #LGBT hate crime.
Looking forward to marching @LiverpoolPride, do come and march with us, #YNWA
Our club and our city showing their solidarity again. This is so important at times when our lives are under threat and identities questioned. Thank you for all who stand up against discrimination.
We are unwavering in our commitment in ensuring that all our supporters are welcome at Anfield.
Today, we celebrate sexual orientation, gender diversity and the LGBT+ community for #IDAHOBIT.
We are all #RedTogether
One of many reasons why @JHenderson is in the @PridePowerList (pridepowerlist.com/post/pride-powโฆ), the only male professional footballer listed.
This follows his nomination for the special Football Ally award at the British #LGBT Awards 2021
Jordan Henderson: captain, leader, ally #YNWA
Youโll never walk alone Keith. If wearing the #RainbowLaces armband helps even just one person then itโs progress. Everyone is welcome at Liverpool Football Club. Hope you enjoyed the game tonight. #YNWA
Paul O'Grady had a heart as big as Liverpool especially where dogs were concerned, his harder than shellacked nails Lily Savage gave no quarter. His loss is immense, that he didn't get to see #Eurovision come to Liverpool is immeasurably sad. Rest in Power ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ช๐บ๐บ๐ฆโ๐พ๐
