    The Westwood Recreation Center located at 1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd., in LA 90025, is open for evacuees and accepts small animals. It is now also serving as a shelter, allowing residents to remain overnight. Get the latest updates on evacuation orders at: LAFD.org/alerts

    Thanks to the @ASPCA and @ASPCAPro #aspcagrants, adult cats over 4 months old at LA City shelters are free to adopt! You have until February 4th to take advantage of the waived fee.

    A huge thank you to all who fostered, adopted & rescued this weekend! With your help, we were able to find new homes for 285 pets, place 214 pets into foster homes, and get 198 pets out to our rescue partners! That's 697 pets! Thank you from all of us at LA Animal Services ♥️

    We're at capacity! Adoption fees are waived on all our cats, kittens, dogs and puppies today and tomorrow! Bring home a great dog like Dodger (#A1560440) from North Central Center! A $20 license fee will apply to all LA City residents who adopt dogs that are 4 months and older.

    Meet Fargo (#A1901516), our @KTLA #petoftheweek today during the one o'clock hour! This 2-month-old cutie pie is 2.5-lbs and neutered. Fargo will be available at our North Central Animal Services Center today at 3 p.m.
