The weirdest thing about this is realizing we don’t have a president, and haven’t for a while, and nobody has any clue who is making decisions on behalf of our country. Nobody even bothers to ask. Who exactly is in charge? Nobody knows.

Last week at a fly shop in Montana the clerk let me walk out with a $1000 rod to test it at a nearby park. Didn’t even take my ID. Days later I was at a CVS in DC and had to ask permission to buy a can of shaving cream locked behind a glass case. Not the same civilization.
