Some choice shots I did during my time on #Rocketeer on @DisneyPlus. I learned a lot from this show and hearing all the music and effects they added afterwards was really cool!
I finally have a pinned tweet... like a real animator!
one of the easiest early milestones a new animator can clear is remembering to include the shoulders in both highly dynamic locomotion shots and your standard exposition midshots. your seniors will spot and appreciate it right away
the replies have concluded that modern animators dont have any love for the craft anymore, which couldnt be further from the truth
the anime industry has been strangling and burning out its talent for decades. the people who remain arent there for the pay because there isnt any
love that so many popular shows lately have been showcasing raw fundamental human locomotion animation and people are going fuckin nuts over it
we all love a nice sword of the stranger fight but a person pivoting with a perfect fabric arc and immaculate foot placement? mmm
Did you know actually my FAVORITE part of the trailer is this tiny turn and slide Coco does because animation wise it's SO pretty I LOVE IT ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐๐
i often wonder what media would look like if instead of pivoting to expensive sequels and extended universes we just explored the anthology style of expansion more fully.
less risk, less commitment, enormous potential payoff if you get anything half as good as the animatrix
