A bit hypocritical that sleeping in is “lazy,” but going to bed early isn’t.

This worldwide IV contrast shortage should be front page news, but I don’t think the media gets it.

If a pregnant patients symptoms don’t make sense, or something seems off, you have to interview the patient without their partner present. Approximately 324,000 pregnant women are abused each year in the USA.

I’m worried about the vaccine causing the side effect of people thinking I’ll want to hang out with them now.

“My spouse made me come to the ER. I didn’t want to.” This phrase seems to be 100% sensitive in predicting an emergent medical condition is present. 😂

I’m tired of talking about COVID-19, seeing COVID-19, thinking about COVID-19, altering my plans because of COVID-19, watching people die because of COVID-19... Just wear the mask, wash your hands, and follow the simple guidelines. I’m exhausted. 😷😔

Patients are refusing the vaccine because it’s “experimental.” Yet, when they get covid and are hypoxic and need treatment, they demand drugs that are experimental (hydroxychloroquine).

Those who said they don’t want an “experimental vaccine” are now part of a larger experiment... as the control group.

I disagreed with another physician about a patient. They were ultimately right. I let them know they were right and thanked them. Doubling down when you’re wrong is one of the things wrong with medicine. It limits your knowledge growth and will only hurt you and your patients.

Please wear your mask the entire time you are in an exam room with a healthcare worker.
