    1977 draft, I was sitting in my dorm room at Rice University. The Packers called me and said they were taking me with the 28th pick in the first round. 5 minutes later, Bud called and said we are taking you at 27. Thank you Bud!

    If you believe in Karma, there it is. Favre took a beating 10 years ago, many non calls prevented them from going to the Super Bowl. It just happened to the Saints on 1 non call.

    When Herschel got to the Vikings,he would talk in the 3rd person. Herschel is headed home, Herschel will see you tomorrow. We were like….. who the hell is talking to? 😂

    A friend snapped this pic of me helping Bud out to his car the other night. 1977 against the 49ers, 4th quarter, Bud walks by and says, rookie, get in there, 3 TD’s later and a 28-27 victory, the rest is history. Love this man.

    I got a message last wk asking if I could send a pic to a Dad who had been going through some tough times lately, his wife was in a coma for 10 months and he lost his job. We decided to do one better, surprised him today with a visit and Jersey. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads
