We're heading to the hottest Arctic fall season in 3M years. Entire basin & Greenland 16°C to 28°C warmer than normal.

Temperatures are about to reach 30°C in the whole Siberian permafrost-area during the next 2 weeks. Unprecedented for such a long period, this early in the summer.

Every climate analyst knows what's going on. But no one dares to make the statement. Our oceans are starting to pump the heat they've stored for years to the surface. Even after a La Niña period, this seems to be a very easy transition for our oceans. This scares me. @UNFCCC

This is exactly where we are today: Arctic: +4.0°C NH: +2.0°C Equator: +1.5°C SH: +1.0°C Antarctica: +2.0°C How is it possible to have not one politician getting this? #COP27

The Arctic sea ice is now really starting to melt very quickly.

-- BREAKING -- The Northern Hemisphere is warming three times faster than the IPCC was willing to admit last year. And that's not the worst news. We can survive this for a while. The bad news is that we're rapidly moving towards El Niño conditions again. climatereanalyzer.org/clim/sst_daily…

The collapse of the Thwaites Glacier tongue: It seems just a matter of weeks now! There is no (buttressing) sea ice this year to prevent the glacier from sliding faster due to fragmentation, increased mobility & accelerated warming from beneath & above.

--- Breaking News --- We're heading for anomalies of more than +3°C in February & March compared to the 1850-1900 period for the Northern Hemisphere & +2.5°C for the entire planet. China, the US, Europe, Russia, India & in fact the entire @UN must now declare emergency measures.

And here it is. The rate of the CO₂ concentration increase keeps accelerating. This is the first time the daily mean has exceeded 430 ppm, in probably 3 million years!! Mar. 7, 2025 = 430.60 ppm co2.earth/daily-co2

    - Eastern Siberian temperatures are climbing: >40°C - Eastern & Western Siberia & Russian Far East on fire - Jakobshavn, Helheim, Kangerlussuaq & Daugaard-Jensen glacier in danger - SST anomalies are climbing: >15°C - 40% of Greenland is melting - Canadian Archipelago: >20°C ...

Things are going very fast now. The mean winter CO₂ concentration above the Arctic sea ice already exceeds 440 ppm! This in combination with the even faster thawing permafrost & the wafer-thin sea ice is driving the warming of the Northern Hemisphere to one at a doubling speed.

--- June 2023 --- This isn't just a little warming. This is an omen that there are several tipping points in the game at the same time. Methane, extra ocean warmth at the surface, less sea ice, more forest fires, less particles in the atmosphere, ...

We also see global warming is starting to reinforce itself uncontrollably in the northern hemisphere. It's happening now. Especially since the last El Niño, combined with a catastrophic loss of northern sea ice. Our northern hemisphere already hit +3°C (vs 1850-1900) this year.
