    Hrithiksha, daughter of a daily wage worker in Kushalnagar, lost her mother to Covid-19 on May 16. She is requesting people who might have taken her mother’s mobile at Covid hospital in Madikeri to give it back. She says that mobile has a lot of memories of her mother.

    A group from Bengaluru dumps unused marriage invitation cards into River Kaveri in Kushalnagar. Local residents traced the number through invitation card and made them pick it up from the river.

    A wild elephant walks upto a bus carrying pilgrims from Somwarpet to Sabarimala near Thithimathi. It removes a flower garland from Lord Ayyappa's photo on the bus's front and places it on its head. Without troubling devotees, the elephant allows the bus to proceed. VC: WhatsApp

    Havaldar Altaf Ahmed's son Mohammed Afrid and daughter Asma Jasmine paying tributes to their father wearing olive green dress during cremation in Virajpet earlier today. Altaf, who was on duty in Srinagar, was martyred after he was caught in a blizzard on February 23.
