    Knowsley Council has stepped in and will provide free school meals during school holidays next week. The announcement follows the Government confirming it won't fund free school meals. No child will go hungry in #Knowsley. @MarcusRashford

    Back in April local farmer, Olly Harrison @agricontract planted 35,000 sunflower seeds, across 1 acre of land to create 200ft high letters spelling ‘NHS’. They’re in full bloom now and look beautiful 🌻 orlo.uk/nhs_sunflowers…

    The priority is for schools to re-open safely rather than quickly or on any given day. Whilst a target date has been set by the Government, preventing further spread of Coronavirus is our priority and schools will only re-open when it is safe to do so. orlo.uk/M4lIR

    Good news! The Government has confirmed that will will fund free school meal vouchers for the half term week – after councils including #Knowsley called for them to do so. If you're eligible for free school meals your voucher will be available from tomorrow afternoon.

    Today Knowsley lights the Greystone Footbridge purple to pay tribute to George Floyd. We join others across the UK who are demonstrating their desire to see social change. Our message is clear, Knowsley will not accept racism, in any form, at any time. #BlackOutTuesday
