Today’s Nay’s 17th birthday & she’s been wanting this Steve Lacy vinyl but can’t find it when we’re diggin’ & it goes for $200-$400 online! So I got my hands on it & surprised her by making her think she was pulling vinyl for me to finish a beat! Love her more than ANYTHING!❤️❤️

This is a PERFECT example of how me & other buls speak two TOTALLY languages when it comes to hip hop. There's not one word in this entire rant about lyrics, bars, quotables, nothing. EVERYTHING is said is about album sales & popularity which has NOTHING to do with the culture.

There's SO many quotables on Protect Ya Neck but the jawn that ALWAYS stood out to me was "1st of all, who's your A&R a mountain climber who plays an electric guitar" and from that second forward I've been a GZA fan! And THIS album literally could be the manual on how to MC!
