Yesterday, when we found Sadiq, no aid organizations were present in his neighborhood. He chose to starve himself so his children could eat, which left him wheelchair-bound. We’re now providing food for him and others there. Please support this effort: gofund.me/bb54dfd1

Unfortunately we’ve seen a significant drop off in donations. If donations don’t pick up soon we will be forced to close some of our kitchens. We really don’t want to have to do that given that so many people have come to depend on these kitchens to survive. So if you are able

This is one of our Kitchens in Al Fitehab Omdurman. In these 4 pictures you can see just how long the food line gets. Over 1,500 people depend on this one kitchen alone. For many people in Sudan at the moment community kitchens are literally their only source of food.
