00:00 - High school players... I shouldn’t be reading your tweets about your game wondering if your team won because all I read is your stats. We play a team game - could care less if you had the game of your life but lost. Please consider re-wording your tweets with “we” instead of “me”
- Women play their sport bc we love it. We dont have the opportunity to make the money men do, so all our sweat & tears come from pure passion
- Softball players, want to get better? College softball is on TV right now and the best way to learn is by studying the game. Listen, watch their body language, listen to the announcers. Getting better doesn’t always have to be active.
- To the 2021 juniors who have been anticipating September 1st - I want to remind you that it is just the first day they can call you, not the last. Also, your worth as a person & athlete is not determined by a single phone call tomorrow. You are SO much more than that.
- @ literally all softball families. Please understand the importance of this - success comes from learning how to EARN playing time.
- My encouragement as September 1st approaches: •Your worth is not in a phone call. You are valued, you are loved and you are a darn good ball player. •Don’t rush any decisions and communicate with the people that care about you and know you best. •Better doesn’t always
- You can’t tell me the transfer portal isn’t an issue when as soon as anyone is good, the whole Twitter crowd is talking about them ending up at OU. The portal isn’t doing what it was intended for and it is minimizing the players that are using it for the right reasons.

- Stability and core • Often times we talk about “using the ground” in a full swing to generate power. This concept applies to slappers as well, but is undervalued and undertrained because often times slappers are so focused on foot work and where their steps are going in the

- One thing I promised when I got into coaching was I was going to be confidence builder It didn’t take long to realize building confidence isnt taking it easy on them It is holding them to a standard they have never been held to before. They realize they’re capable of so much more
