- To people flipping pit about the command. The most famous words in racing are “gentlemen start your engines”. It was changed to “drivers” a few years ago when there were females in the field. There are not today. The command was accurate.
- Last night was the first time in awhile that I was really, really scared after an accident. Luckily my brother, Lee, is ok after his steering broke and put him head on into the Turn 4 wall. A testament to how much safety has improved over the years. Thank you, God.
- Sitting with my family in Ohio. All of us in silence. Just shaking our heads. Our hearts are breaking for Sherry, their children and grandchildren. Greg was full of passion and spoke often of how much he loved his family. I wish there was more we could do. He’s already so missed.
- I’ll always remember Jason for putting on the greatest Nationals I’ve ever seen. For singing with the band at the post party and enjoying every minute. But the look on his face with Jaxx and Bobbi in Victory Lane showed what was most important to him. Prayers for both of them.
- My lunch buddy today. Only 11-Time Knoxville Nationals winner THE KING Steve Kinser! ❤️🏁 A champion will be crowned tonight, but this moment made me feel like I won today!
- So my dad handmade this badass table that will be auctioned off on Saturday at the @sprintcarhof. Features the three drivers who have won 300 or more @WorldofOutlaws races. All three firesuits are signed. Awesome of Steve, Sammy and Donny to donate a suit!
- Classless comment by Harvick. An owner gave him a chance one day and I’m sure he wasn’t a perfect driver back then. To say Chastainnwont ever get an opportunity again after he won first two stages and dominated 2/3 of the race is petty and incorrect.
- How cool is it that @kaseykahne raced #NASCAR today @WGI and flew to @knoxvilleraces in time to make qualifying for tonight’s @WeldRacing Capitani Classic!
- When I was a substitute school teacher, there were two kinds of parents. 1. If you get in trouble at school, you're in more trouble at home. 2. If you get in trouble at school, tell me which teacher did it and I'll get them fired. PLEASE PARENTS...be type 1.
- I’m long-winded as many of you know. Cliff’s Notes version: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Forever grateful for the opportunities (past and present) that I’ve been given. ❤️🏁
- 50+ banners stolen during Nationals. About $6-7,000 worth. I know that doesn’t sound like@much to some race fans, but when I’m trying to get $ for bands and fun things, that $7k I now have to spend on replacements could go a long way. 😡
