    #Emory CT surgery - 5 cardiac surgeons are women and July we will add a thoracic surgeon to the mix. We need to keep taking about this - but I look forward to the day it is so common for women to be Cardiothoracic Surgeons that it no longer makes the news

    IT’S ABOUT TIME!!! Only 5% of CT Surgeons are Women -I was the 250th Woman Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery OF ALL TIME!! Dr. Isida Byku just joined- only 4.5% of Interventional Cardiologists are Women! Rare 2 Women Operators on a Heart Team - BREAKING THE GLASS CEILING!!
