- 🚨BREAKING: The NCAA is expected to announce today that the baseball and softball championships will allow 100 percent capacity if local and state guidelines allow for it. This is massive news for both sports.
- I have to admit, canceling the CWS when it occurs in June seems a little early to me … to say the least.
- 🚨SOURCES: The @NCAA Division I Council has approved a measure to turn all volunteer positions in baseball and softball (and in all sports) into a full-time coaching position without recruiting constraints. Volunteers will officially become full-time coaches on July 1, 2023.

- BREAKING: @RacersBaseball is signing surging head coach Dan Skirka to a new deal that is expected to be four years in length after he was a finalist for the Duke head coaching job. He’s expected to be the highest paid coach in the #MVC. Well deserved.
- BREAKING: The @NCAA Division I Council has PASSED legislation, effective August 1, that would allow teams to give need-based/merit aid without it counting against a program’s scholarship total. This is big news for college baseball.
