- I don't see the point of resuming this #Yankees-#Nationals game. After that massive thunder shower, the place is empty.
- For 25-plus years, I have been fortunate enough to realize my childhood dream of covering baseball on a daily basis. Now I'm ready to take on new challenges (to be determined later). My last day at @nypostsports will be Feb. 28. Thanks to everyone here for the support and fun.
- I texted the great Davey Johnson to get his thoughts on the passing of his #Braves teammate Hank Aaron. Davey wrote back: "Loved him. Can't talk, in hospital with COVID-19 getting treatment. He was my idol and friend." Wishing Davey strength.
- I'm suspending my #Yankees prediction shtick tonight to remember the late, great Anthony Causi, who died one year ago today. We miss Anthony's fearlessness, his generosity of spirit, his impish smile and so much more. Continued prayers for his family.
- Elmo.
