- Who would buy only American Beef & Pork if country of origin labeling told the truth again??In 2015, Congress repealed country of origin labeling requirements for beef & pork. I voted to keep the labels, but most of Congress voted to remove labels because of a WTO ruling in favor of Canada & Mexico. If we’re in a trade dispute now, I say put the labels back on our food.
