- I saw a TikTok recipe for a fun cheesecake and I decided to make it! Rémy and I did it together. It’s baking now. Hopefully it doesn’t get ugly in the oven! Stay tuned….
- I saw an IG Reel that said something along the lines of “women have no idea how often the men in their lives think about the Roman Empire.” So I asked my husband: “How often do you think about the Roman Empire?” And without missing a beat he said “Every day.” YALL! Why!?

- As a young-ish female pastor, I'm still searching for ways to gently tell people "with all due respect I have a Masters degree in this" when they try to inform me of what the Bible says.

- Replying to @_RachelleAndrea and @acarroll199It was really easy and fun to do. All you do is save some of the cheesecake batter and add food dye to it and put it in piping bags. I didn’t have any piping bags so I just cut the corner off of a ziplock bag.
- “WHAT IF you put the cake batter in the muffin tin and made INDIVIDUAL SIZED CAKES??” -my husband, thinking he just invented cupcakes
- lol so many churches give their male staff "pastor" and "minister" titles and their female staff "director" and "coordinator" and think we won't notice
- Please please be aware that “Biblical Counseling” is not therapy. If you want counseling that is inclusive of your faith, find a licensed therapist who is also a Christian. But stay away from “biblical counseling.”
- Everyone wants to be the friends of the paralytic, lowering their friend through a roof to Jesus. Nobody wants to be the homeowner who gets their roof wrecked.
