DC is by leaps and bounds the most violent place I have lived. I personally witnessed *multiple* shootings and heard gunshots at night on a regular basis. Yeah, Trump is terrible. But let’s not kid ourselves about the severity of the violence in our nation’s capitol.

Lots of takes, probably too much to engage with. The point is that this is my commute and these guys make me unsafe every day. Yes, i could simply move, but drivers could simply not make my commute and others’ unsafe every single day of my life. Hope y’all have a blessed day. 🥰

I wish he would- and use the loading dock that is easily accessible. Its unsafe and not okay to force people on bikes out into traffic unpredictably like this. People get hurt like this all the time.

No I just wanted him to understand its unsafe. If you’re not from the area, this is a recurring problem at this intersection. There is a loading dock that is on the other side and this is on the busiest bike route in the district.
