If it doesn’t happen this week, you can be damn sure the officiating for our game will be disgusting. The NFL has a way of ensuring their late season games have meaning for viewership. They won’t want us to win each of the next two. They want everything to come down to week 18.

Not sure how obvious it was on TV, but Fitzgerald was an absolute DEMON on kickoffs today. He was hitting these knuckleballs that were doing all kinds of wild shit in the air, and those Failcon returners had absolutely no idea what to do with them.

Had Baker been the guy we have all been told he is, and pitched fits and been a cancer to the locker room, I would understand hate toward him. He was not that guy. He seemed genuinely bought in a seemed to have good relationships here. Respect him for that even after failing.

The last thing that pisses me off, Dave had NO problem opening up the playbook last year when games meant nothing and Bryce absolutely thrived. But as soon as games are meaningful again “he doesn’t trust the quarterback” so he’s hiding in his shell. Bullshit. Let Bryce eat man.
