Agree Sir. The only motivation driving the Agnipath is reducing the pension bill. The fact that this scheme will degrade combat effectiveness is known to all who understand national security.

This is the effort that goes into a single stitch. There are several kilometers of these in the Min of culture and Navy sponsored stitched ship under construction at Divar Goa. Skill of the craftsmen is to be admired and hailed

Giving professionally honest advice to government is absolutely essential and is perhaps the most important duty of a senior military leader. Time to change our organisational cultures, promote honest discussion and build healthy civ mil fusion based on mutual trust and respect

So wonderful to see new appointments in the three services. Whilst the government makes up its mind on the CDS, time is opportune to appoint CISC as Secretary DMA. This is what should have been done in the first place, rather than CDS playing the secretary's role.

The article is both timely and comprehensive. The Indian Navy through its professionalism and perseverance, has emerged as a force for good in ensuring a Free, Open, Inclusive and Resilient Indo Pacific.

Ordnance on target is absolutely crucial to warfare. Every 'miss', whatever be the reason should call for deep analysis, introspection and remedial action

It is a globally connected world with several countries relying on each other. We have a large diaspora in the gulf that provides us remittance to the tune of 40 bn US$. Good relations and dialogue are the solution and not provocative articles

Completely agree with you sir. We have a surfeit of auditors and inspectors with lots of authority but no responsibility. They bring in delays and inefficiency
