- Today I sent a letter on behalf of the OK Senate Democrats to @GovStitt asking him to take further action on the COVID-19 spread.
- It's time to do the right thing for our survivors. They chose to have the kits done, and they are entitled to have the results of the testing as well as the chance to use any uncovered evidence to bring the perpetrators to justice.
- I'm proud that Oklahomans at every level of our government came together behind this important issue. This is a major step toward ending the rape-kit backlog and securing justice for survivors.Big news from Oklahoma! We're excited to share that @GovStitt has signed SB 967, establishing a rape kit tracking system. We thank the governor and Sen. @KayFloydOK, Sen. @jonechols, & @AGMikeHunter's SAFE Task Force for your dedicated work to achieve this milestone!
- I'm proud and excited to serve with such a diverse group of women leaders.

- Consent isn't just a word - it's a fundamental part of safe and healthy relationships. I'm so glad we're one step closer to making consent education a reality. The House Common Education Committee has advanced SB 926, a bill that would mandate discussion of #consent within sexual education curriculum in Oklahoma. bit.ly/2UtwSWb #oklaed #okleg
- The @officialOKGOP compared food stamp recipients to animals on FB today. This is NOT the OK Standard.
- Today I was debating against anti-choice legislation being considered in the Senate and made a statement that has been taken out of context. I attempted to point out how extreme the bill was because it does not include any exceptions for women who are victims of rape and incest.
- I'm honored to be recognized by the Oklahoma Women's Coalition and I am grateful for the work they do every day to move Oklahoma forward.
- The inscription on City Hall reads that it is “dedicated to the people of Oklahoma City.” Tomorrow, James Cooper will take office & some of OUR neighbors who have not always felt welcome at THEIR City Hall will finally know for certain that it belongs to them as well. #1OKC
