Pursuing a music career means: - you’ll fuck up a lot - get ignored a lot - get rejected a lot - have no social life - be up at weird hours - go to bed at weirder hours - spend a lot of time in the studio - realize nobody understands - overthink everything And still keep going.

Make music, release it, fuck the results… then repeat.

I want to see more Producers fuckin with Artists that have NO fans or clout instead of always chasing placements with bigger Artists.

Don’t underestimate how much u can do on your own. I make my own content, edit videos, graphics, post + manage socials, answer emails, send out merch, run my own website and businesses, marketing n ads, make beats, produce records.. and do normal ppl shit! Lol

I produced a song for a major label Artist in February of LAST YEAR and still have not been paid by the label for my beat… This is also NOT the first time a label has taken over a year to pay me for my production. The disrespect for Producers is insane.

A lot of rappers just RAP. Who actually got something interesting to say??

Lots of Producers getting slept on cuz they don’t have credits or clout yet. I’m gonna change that... 🤘🏼

Producers, a lot of ppl make beats. Photographers, a lot of ppl take pictures. Rappers, a lot of ppl can rhyme words. Your individual uniqueness and WORK ETHIC is what will either make u successful or just another one of those ppl.

Make the music YOU love making, not the music you think will sell.

Most don’t realize how much ppl sacrifice for this music shit. Relationships, social life, even basic living necessities... for YEARS AND YEARS. Ppl see the result and want it but very few actually put in the work to get it.

Top selling Artists of the last decade... any surprises here? 😱

If you want a music career, be ready to put in 10 years of work. That’s 10 YEARS of 110% commitment... no breaks. Spending day and night in the studio. Meeting new ppl and learning new things. If u love this, you’ll make it.

Making beats is easy. It’s getting them into the right inboxes and studios that’s hard. That’s the whole game.
