For most nonprofits, the most effective way to raise money is to spend time with individual donors. The least effective is to hold entertainment events: galas, golf, food/wine. If your event takes six months to plan and raises two months of budget, it’s a waste of time & effort.

Many abusers don’t reveal themselves until the woman is “caught” - either just married or pregnant and past the point of abortion. 40% of law enforcement are abusers. She should get counseling alone to start. This will get worse. The “apologies” are the honeymoon phase of abuse.

I would have been so tempted to say “My middle child died of leukemia” or “My middle child died in a school shooting.” That would be a terrible thing to do, but I’d be tempted.

I know a guy who is a medical doctor, great career, fluent in French, plays the organ, fit and buff, married with 3 kids, and he is haunted to this day by the bullying he got as a kid. Thank you for being the Mama Bear your son needed. I think you may have helped the bully, too.

I remember being startled when I asked a 30-year-old man where his girlfriend was and he said “Studying for exams.” I said “Is she in law school?” He replied “She’s a sophomore in college.” 19. Wow.

Japan’s huge advantage over the U.S. is that they teach community while we teach individuality. It means we don’t take care of others, it’s “every man for themselves” here. We spend so much time teaching American exceptionalism that we don’t learn from other countries.

Suspending that student from school may save their life. It could be the biggest back-handed favor ever. Maybe all the students can take pictures and post them and get suspended. It reminds me of someone who was fired from their job in the World Trade Centers on September 10, 01.

Would you be willing to post the name of the police station and their Twitter handle? I will bet that if a number of us tag them on social media, they will take a report. You can also include your local newspaper Twitter handle or that of local TV stations.

“Our clumsy 4 year old who spills milk often” translates to: “I yell and scream at a child for making mistakes.” She “bought overpriced spillproof cups” means he’s going to yell at her for trying to solve the problem of his yelling at the toddler.

Notice how he doesn’t say anything about the woman who’s pregnant? Where’s the part where he dropped to one knee and proposed? Promised he would raise their child? Even treated the woman as a human being in her own right? 5 months is a wanted pregnancy, what’s he not saying?

If you shave, you’re basically giving your face a mini-workout ever day, which helps. Also, it’s acceptable for men to age, so no one will notice a few wrinkles.

I’m going to guess that the woman who called him an incel was right. Now the fun thing would be for every man in the Facebook group to send him a message saying “Hi, how are you,” start imposing discussions of classic fiction, and see how into platonic relationships he really is.

Where’s the part where he connects “Taking testosterone” “sex drive is crazy” & “I can’t control myself” and he realizes “I need to lay off testosterone before I rape my wife again”? And then get therapy to stop thinking that a woman resisting rape is “so feminine” and a turn-on.
