- The press hounded Princess Diana. After her death, we said it would never happen again. Then others. They splashed Amy Winehouse’s suffering across front pages. Meghan has been so attacked she had to leave. Our society hunts women down for kicks and can’t seem to stop.

- People who say - authorities should take statues down after discussion. Yes. But it isn't happening. Bristol'sbeen debating #EdwardColston for years and wasn't getting anywhere. In 2018, it was agreed that statue would bear a plaque noting his involvement in the slave trade. BUT
- people writing that the university should fire me because I said Nigel Farage was a disgrace comparing #BlackLivesMattters, a movement of peace and justice, to the Taliban and because I said the statue of a slave trader belonged in the sea, thanks guys, will let the VC know.
- Victorian buildings in this country are torn down all the time. No one cares. But remove a statue of a horrific slave trader in human souls - and its ‘erasing our history’ and ‘mob rule’.

- Those denying Meghan’s suicidal thoughts - it is an absolute disgrace. Such ‘I don’t believe it’ is why people don’t speak out about mental health, why they suffer in silence, feel shame. We need to be better than this.
