I don’t want to say ‘middle-aged, white man’, but I’m definitely seeing a trend in the bullshido and absolute lack of knowledge when it comes to net zero. Ok, let’s fact this out. The particular mower, a 36v Ebauer will run for 80 mins on a full charge and consume
Net Zero Nonsense. Cutting my lawns with a battery powered lawnmower (a gift) gets you thinking.

On the day of filming, the UK grid was being powered by more than 76% renewable and nuclear sources, including more than 50% wind and 10% solar generation, although local solar generation would be far higher due to clear skies. grid.iamkate.com

Here's a real issue we are seeing time and time again. I did a repair on a local ladies Renault Zoe today. She'd been quoted £1203 to have a 'Danger Electrical Failure' warning lamp issue resolved, a new door hinge, a water ingress issue resolved and 2 x TPMS sensors. What it

If there was ever a reason to own a @Tesla this is probably it. Hit by a truck travelling at 60 mph whilst stationary. 6 others involved were hospitalised, but the driver here wasn’t!!

Our @Tesla Model S has now covered 30000 miles and has been, to date, the most reliable, safe and exhilarating car we have ever owned. A massive thanks to @elonmusk for this one 🙏😁

I've been completely blown away by the @Tesla Model 3. Once in a Tesla, I genuinely feel there is no way back!!! The build is amazing, the feel is amazing and even in red, my least favourite colour, it looks amazing. I'm in love with this and @elonmusk 😍

This Model 3 was registered on 14th October 2019.... Original front and rear discs and pads, battery, motors, inverters, coolant, brake fluid, you get the picture. Just saying.

If anyone asks “what happens to EV battery modules when they’re no longer suitable for cars”, we sell them to people who do this. These modules are now 13 years old. This is on a canal boat and allows the owner to run completely off-grid with a small solar array. He’s adding

Stroll on. I've been doing some maths. Our MG5 is now at 130,000 miles. If our MG5 had been a diesel car and it averaged 50mpg, it would have costs us £17,375 just in fuel. We'll forget servicing, wet belts, egr coolers, DPF regens and discs and pads for now. Because

Just add the 4.4 billion metric tonnes of crude oil to this and you'd understand how much mining isn't even in the same league as oil extraction. It's also worth remembering that we don't really set fire to the stuff we mine, and it can normally be recycled or reused. Burnt

Driving my friends @PolestarCars this evening, the headlights are amazing. I’m ready for this on our @Tesla Model Y any time soon 🙏🏼😳

56 parking spaces, 56 chargers in place. Even those that don’t run EVs contributed to this as per parking space, the cost was £75. Future proofed 👌🏼

FFS. Everything about this says “you don’t need it”, but I can see this causing many an old man, myself included, a few issues. Chinese EVs and pretty much anything Chinese is laughed at and ridiculed (by a certain type) yet here we are in 2023 and the whole auto industry is

There’s a whole lot of FUD going around about EVs as the bottom drops out of the fossil fuel world. Here’s every place our fully electric MG5 has taken us over the last 15 months and 64k miles. I’ve never ran out, it’s never broken down and it’s saved us £200 pcm minimum.
