    The threshold for eligibility for pension credit is an annual income of £11,343.80. This means many pensioners on less than £12k won’t be eligible for the winter fuel allowance. How can it be that people are worse off under a Labour Government than they were under the Tories?

    Edinburgh Council just agreed to my motion in support of buffer zones around abortion clinics. We’ll now formally express interest to @scotgov to be a test council. After last week, delighted this got unanimous backing. Thanks to @backoffscotland for all their work on this.

    The Scot Gvt is taking action needed to control spread of the virus - but doesn't have all the levers of control over economic support packages. Still, they've found £40m to support those most impacted - unlike the UK gvt who are making it hardest for businesses most affected.

    In Feb Labour voted with Tories for a Lib Dem budget, privatising services & ending no compulsory redundancies. Yesterday Labour voted to put Tories & Lib Dems into power in Edinburgh For Scottish Labour, the union is more important than social justice. #VoteLabourGetTory

    Edinburgh Leisure stopped paying the Real Living Wage. SNP been working to get this reversed. Our amendment: “Agrees it is unacceptable…not to pay, at least, the real living wage to all employees” Labour voted it down with help from their Tory & Lib Dem friends. Shameful.

    Had a lovely day meeting some very chatty voters. Unexpectedly high levels of support in an area traditionally not one of our strongholds. On the whole people very fed up with the #Tories and quite happy with the competence of @theSNP - both locally and nationally. #ActiveSNP
