- I just texted Drew Brees. He said he's good and that he did not get struck by lightning.
- Ian Book on finding out he was starting: “I can count, so I knew I was the last one.”
- Dennis Allen said they asked him if Jamaal Williams could get a TD. He said no, he wanted to take a knee. He said the players ran that play anyway. He said Arthur Smith was right to be upset.
- Someone on the plane just yelled “Dennis Allen got fired” and someone clapped.
- Michael Thomas' best statistical game of the season last year was without Brees.
- Brian Flores said he sent messages to the Saints and Texans prior to filing the lawsuit letting them know that would happen, but that he would still love to lead an NFL team. Flores interviewed with the Saints yesterday.
- Drew Brees said it’s hard to believe that the kid he held up at the Super Bowl (Baylen) is now a sophomore in high school who wants to go to LSU. “LSU Tigers baby!”

- What frustrates me about Cam Newton's comments: He's not joking around with friends, he's being condescending to a reporter doing her job
- Darren Rizzi said he clogged the toilet in the head coach’s locker room when he got to the stadium today and thought “this is going to be a crappy day.”
- Tre'Quan Smith said that Alvin Kamara addressed the team after the game and said they're not playing 'Saints football.' He said it's the first time a player has addressed the team "in that manner," and it really meant a lot to him that Kamara stood up and did that.
- I wanted to share this GoFundMe on behalf of Parker, Jeff Dickerson's son, who has experienced the loss of both parents in the last two years:
