The use of coastal defense and anti ship missiles against ground targets are indicators that Russia is running low on precision guided munitions and is resorting to alternatives.

UPDATE: new chart registering Ukrainian strikes against Russia's Black Sea Fleet. The latest strike targeted Feodosia and destroyed the landing vessel Novocherkassk which was transporting ammunition towards the Crimea. Novocherkassk previously survived a strike at Berdyansk.

Couple of observations. 1. The attack came from multiple angels, spreading Russian defenses and maximize damage. 2. The attack was coordinated to have the drones strike simultaneous as seen by how close certain drones were when explosions took place. 1/3
The Ukrainian GUR just posted footage of multiple Ukrainian USVs hitting the Russian Ropucha-class landing ship Caesar Kunikov this morning, sinking it.

A hastily made visual listing the losses of Russian warships during the Russo-Ukrainian War as well as general strike locations. Only major warships or strikes listed.

Some thoughts regarding the Moskva incident. If the vessel was indeed struck by a Neptune missile this would mean that Ukraine now operates a credible A2/AD zone near its coast. This capability will soon be further strenghtened by the arrival of British anti-ship missiles.

UPDATE: #Russia's naval losses in the Black Sea as a result of the Russo-Ukrainian war as of 31/JAN The sinking of the Ivanovets resulted in the Black Sea Fleet losing over 22.000 tons in standard displacement. As of November, we see successful strikes on a monthly basis.

#Russia's Black Sea Fleet losses as of March 05th, 2024. The last three attacks show us that: 1. Ukraine launches Magura V5 attacks with a 2-3 week interval and is able to strike ever further in the Black Sea. 2. Russian ships continue to patrol alone and without support.

Moskva is reportedly not sunk but it looks she is heavily damaged and unable to move under her own power. The vessel is under tow, most likely towards Sevastopol. Hopefully we see some pictures of her when she enters port.
Russian Ministry of Defense says fire at cruiser Moskva has been contained, explosions ceased, crew evacuated and the vessel is being tugged to the port. Also Peskov says Putin is aware of the situation with the vessel liveuamap.com/en/2022/14-apr…

With the #Kerch Bridge being closed, #Russia can still rely on its amphibious lift capacity in the Black Sea to transport heavy military equipment to #Crimea and from there towards the #Kherson Region, albeit at a slower pace compared to railway transport.

3 Ukr continues to attack at night. 4 In spite of several attacks, the Black Sea Fleet has not yet come to the conclusion to escort the Ropucha's and have them sail alone. Ships operating independently are prime targets for an USV attack. Escorts provide more defensive fire. 2/2

I am hearing a lot of talk that the Russian Naval Infantry is landing near #Mariupol. I like to point out that in the past years the NI never trained for a night time landing. I also believe that they have neither the expertise nor equipment for such an operation.
