Just a quick note. I'm going to be off much of the next few weeks. Have a home renovation project on the go that needs to be finished. Wish me luck.

How I’ve spent most evenings over the last 3+ years. 10 feet across from @CTVAnchor and his incredible legacy. I’ll miss the small conversations before, after, and during breaks in the show. Always had time for me, always engaging. Cheers Steve and congratulations!

Hello everyone. Sorry for being a bit quiet lately as I was finishing my contractual obligations with CBC. As I'm sure most of you know by now I'm making a move from CBC to CTV Atlantic. Management of both... facebook.com/kalinweather/p…

Lee is now post-tropical. Post-tropical is a change in the structure of the storm not necessarily meaning a lessening of impacts expected. The centre within 200 km/h of southwest NS. Landfall looks likely this afternoon near the border of Yarmouth/Shelburne Co.

Awesome picture sent in from Greg and Irena Taylor at Cap Lumiere , New Brunswick. Looking towards PEI with a full arc rainbow that followed passing rounds of showers and thunderstorms last evening.

Large swell in a very cold wind near Inverness, Cape Breton, NS. Thank you to photographer Francis MacDonald (@PhotoCapeBreton) for braving the cold and sharing the view.

Look at that band of snow setup right on the Atlantic coastal counties of NS.

More snow to come Sunday. Like today the heaviest around eastern PEI and eastern Nova Scotia. Attached is an outlook into additional Sunday snow, additional Monday snow, and an estimate at where that could leave us as an event total.

I believe...and I'm willing to be corrected of course...that St. Stephen reaching 20.4 today is the first 20 degree temperature of 2021 for the Maritimes for EC operated weather stations.
