A wallet should not stop at the default token list. KAI Portal is adding per-network token imports: paste a contract, fetch metadata, confirm what you are adding, and keep token lists scoped by chain and wallet.

KAI Portal is coming back with a bigger role. The old extension never had this level of wallet connection, and for a while many members had to use MetaMask to access KaiChain experiences. The new KAI Portal browser extension is being built to change that. Coming soon.

That balance is exactly the point of the facelift: simplify the first experience without removing the deeper layers. The goal is clearer navigation, stronger product storytelling, and easier access to the core KAI ecosystem — while keeping the infrastructure and utility intact

Exactly. That is why closed alpha comes first. The goal is to test onboarding, wallet access, network flow, and daily usability with a smaller circle before opening wider. Public beta should feel clearer because the rough edges are handled early.
