- Replying to the barrage of racism against my son @ShekuKM this week. So many feel it’s ok to call for deportation, flogging, sending him ‘back to Africa’ and to use ‘Ni**er’ against someone trying to engage in a conversation about music and inclusion. Horror, rage, heartbreak.
- November is the month, on a day of freezing fog, I first arrived in the UK with my family in 1970. My heart goes out to migrants who arrive here and try to survive hostility #suellabraverman #HouseofMusic
- Backstage at a concert in 2015 at my children’s school -Trinity in Nottingham. Now plans to drastically cut music and creative arts from this wonderful state school. Protest strike on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Where will the future of music come from?
