    @PlacidoDomingo stepped onto the stage in Madrid and the walls of the Auditorio Nacional shook with applause as the great singer returned to sing in his native city again. For screams of "bravo" and "you're the greatest" he had to wait several minutes before starting to sing.

    Next year's calendar is already filling up for the great @PlacidoDomingo and his plans are exciting: an Australian tour with José Carreras, concerts in Bulgaria, France, Japan, Germany, a 50th anniversary celebration in Salzburg and a Spanish Night in Verona, his 55th year there.

    When a child's delight at hearing @PlacidoDomingo for the first time is so overwhelming that he runs onto the stage for an autograph, and then again for a hug. In Tashkent this evening Domingo, a perfect gentleman, was showered with love from young and old at his concert.

    Baden-Baden was this year's last concert for @PlacidoDomingo and what a remarkable 2022 he's had! From Europe to South America and Asia, the tireless tenor astounded the public and swept them off their feet with delight.Thank you Plácido for still giving us so much. Roll on 2023!
