    I found myself earlier today after Fajr watching my wife Priya in a deep sleep that broke itself whenever a sound was made from beyond our bedroom door, her thoughts instinctively bringing her attention to our son and daughter and getting up to see if they were ok. (Thread)

    Visited the grave of our little brother Wadee in chicago today. He was just 6 years old and murdered in his home by his family’s landlord in a hate crime some weeks ago - stabbed 26 times for being Palestinian and Muslim. No words to express what the heart feels right now💔💔💔

    56 Shia Muslims were murdered today during jummah prayers in the city of Peshawar. If your first thought is to do anything other than say a prayer for them, their families and loved ones, then your heart is not in the right place and you should get it to where it needs to be.

    I've come home at all kinds of late hours during this Ramadan to find my wife Priya sleeping. Sometimes I watch her in that deep sleep and whether she is on our couch or in our bed, any noise that I make doesn't seem to phase her. (Thread)

    134 Fulani were massacred in an attack on their village this past week in central Mali.  Their attackers surrounded their village at dawn, killed most people, including the children, in their homes, and then burned down those homes and whatever else they could.  #MaliMassacre

    Alhamdulillah, my baby boy prayed all 5 of his prayers today in congregation for the first time mashallah 🙂 I'm really proud of him and would appreciate any encouraging comments/prayers that you can leave for him that I can show him in the morning to help encourage him more.
