As part of @blastfilms ‘George Michael: Outed’ for @Channel4, here is my story of being outed by the media in 1986/1987. It ended my parliamentary career & made me an easy target for Carl Beech’s false claims, which initiated the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Midland.

My home was searched ILLEGALLY by twenty or so Metropolitan Police Service officers & I had the ordeal of being presumed guilty - I had to prove my innocence! This was thanks to Sir Keir Starmer & his ‘believe the victim’ policy. That is not how British justice should work!

10 years ago today my life as I knew it was destroyed. More than 20 @metpoliceuk officers, primarily in blue forensic overalls, invaded my home, armed with an illegal warrant & Carl Beech’s lies. Distinguished public servants had their reputations ruined. I was falsely accused

Politics has ceased to be the noble calling it once was. It has now become the chosen career path of those straight out of university/with no real life experience & who wish to attain power without knowing what they would do with it. A reckoning is due & I sense one is imminent.
