Kids, if you want to play one sport in HS. The play one sport. If you want to play more than one, then do that.

I think every HS should play HS baseball on friday night under the lights. Not a ton of youth baseball is played on friday nights. When people know when games are it's easier to go to them.

Embarrassed to be super late to this info, but limiting KS teams to only 20 games in a season is silly and absurd. Do better @KSHSAA

These kids are too old to be playing on 9u fields.

Teams in Missouri play over 50% more games in the HS baseball season than teams in KS.

Just listened to the mayor's conference he says in KCMO ANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITY UNDER 50 people is a GO!!! Baseball in KC is a GO my friends.

This is massive. If you know youth and high school baseball in the area then you know Will Gordon. A better man than a coach and he's an elite coach. A huge loss for SME and a game changer for Rockhurst.
Welcome back Coach Gorden! Rockhurst is excited to name WIll Gorden as its head baseball coach! He previously taught and coached at RHS from 2006-2011. He also held coaching roles with Bishop Miege, Shawnee Mission East, Building Champions Baseball Academy, and MLB China.

Tomorrow is when you find out if all the work you've done if the weight room and in skills development paid off. Good luck on your tryouts everyone. Especially those of you that got cut last year and are trying it again.

College coaches. I'm telling you to try and spend some time in KC this spring and summer. You will be shocked at the talent right now in high school baseball.

Coaches. I've been watching these high school players as much or more than anyone else in the city. There is elite talent in Kansas City right now.

Can I say. Not allowing kid to play baseball outside is dumb. They're not at risk. Outside is good for them. Baseball is good for them.

Football coaches. Summer is baseball season. Stop being jerks to the baseball players doing their thing. Can't tell you how many stories I've heard this summer of FB coaches hounding baseball athletes. I know a handful that just decided to quit FB because of it.

Missouri saying "sports events" can open on May 4th. To me that includes all the facilities, fields, tournaments and leagues. Let's GO!
